A Word From Us

"I was born here at St. Peters Hospital in Olympia and spent my childhood growing up in Lacey. After graduating from North Thurston High School and WSU, I found myself in a part-time position at CCS&G in 1987 and never left.

It's difficult sometimes believing I've been working here for this long. I was given an opportunity to work here helping on installations, and that grew into being the store manager, and now I'm a part-owner.

One of the reasons why I've stayed here is the heart of this company is good. There is an honest effort made by myself, Jack, Larry, and the rest of our employees to do good quality work and to provide information and answers to questions.

It's the hallmark of our company, and thanks to that effort. We've developed great working relationships with many good people who have been our customers. I'm very fortunate to be here."

We are so happy with our wood stove installation! From the minute we walked into the store, the entire process was so easy! They were informative and helpful, without being pushy, in the store. The installation got delayed but they rescheduled it so quickly and the installers were so professional and easy to chat with! We hope that they are honest if we need any warranty things in the future but, for now, we are loving our new setup!

I want to express our sincere appreciation for your awesome customer service. We were concerned with some excessive blackening on the glass that we didn't have before. We called and had our fireplace serviced with another local heating and AC business and were told we had a cracked base plate and it would cost over a 1000 dollars to repair it and told not to use it until fixed. We contacted Capital City Stove about maybe getting a new fireplace as a better option. Larry and his partner were confused on the quote and came out within 2 days to look at it. After a few minutes, they saw the problem. The flames were way to high and they just adjusted it with a screwdriver. It works perfectly now. They saved us a lot of money and will be our first call every time for service and support. Thank you again!!!

Capital City Stove and Grill are more than product oriented. My 94 year old father needed to convert from a wood burning stove to a gas stove. Capital City Stove worked with us to get the correct unit for the size of the area, keeping in mind the physical restrictions of this customer. In addition, in the 3 years since the unit was installed my father has had complications with the simple remote (note: even a TV remote causes issues) each time Capital City has sent a technician to correct the issue and put my father at ease. Larry, John and all the staff have shown extraordinary patience, compassion, and empathy with my father and have treated him with great respect even when he has not so nice things to say. If anyone reads this the key point is this organization is more than a one stop shop... they continue to establish high ethical standards and maintain a commu city concern that is exemplary to other businesses in our community and an example to us all. The product they provide has exceeded all expectations and Capiral City Stove and Grill staff has also exceeded all expectations. May they be blessed as they have blessed our family
